CUET is a central entrance exam for admissions to over 280 universities nationwide. The test debuted on the nationwide landscape in 2022 with 75 participating universities. However, within 3 years, the number has increased significantly.

Recently, NTA released the entire list of universities that will be participating in CUET (UG) 2025. The list consists of 287 universities across the country. It includes top universities like the University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, JNU, JMI, AMU, and many more. Students who aspire to be admitted to a UG course at any of the top universities in India must thoroughly check the detailed CUET university list.

The category-wise distribution of the CUET university list is provided below.

All the CUET UG participating universities will accept students' CUET scores for UG admission.

One important thing that all the students must note is that admission to all the UG courses offered by all the central universities participating in CUET will be based on CUET scores only. However, there is a small twist.

Condition 1: All 46 central universities will accept CUET scores for admission to every UG program they offer and fill out all the seats through admission based on CUET scores only.

Condition 2: Universities other than central ones will accept CUET scores for admission to only selected UG courses. The respective universities will decide the means of admission to the remaining few programs.

Students must visit the university's official website for a detailed list of universities other than the central universities and the courses for which they will accept the CUET score.
